10 Questions

The tasks we had to complete today were made by other students who remain anonymous. That being said, the tasks were rather easy to complete, but the actual student document was incomplete which disabled me from completeing a couple of the tasks. Other than that, it was a job well done.

What's New?

A lot more comes with Word 2007. In the past week we've learned all sorts of new things that will help save time and work more efficiently, such as creating and editing word documents, and making documents with pictures. Using the mini toolbar and shortcut menus are what save time, however. Instead of having to search for different options to edit a document, it is all handed to you on a silver platter. =)

Word 2007 Enviroment

In the new Microsoft button feature of Word 2007, there is a wide variety of different menus that relate to the document. It makes life a lot easier when it comes down to trying to save or open documents. The tabs are also very useful. They allow you to control several options such as the page layout, text, background color, etc.. Since it is all available to you on the ribbon, it allows one to save time, and work more efficiently.

Certiport Benefits

This certification seems rather intimidating. However, what one can get out of it as a student is priceless. For some it might be a head-start into a possible career. I honestly have not made up my mind about what I will do when I graduate. I have considered various fields, but this could definitely help if I were to enter business. It seems interesting enough. I'm certain, however, that once I'm at a university I'll be able to find a job without having to hassle.

Hello, my name is Alan!

This is all rather new to me. I've had accounts on other blog sites, but never took them seriously. Since this is school related I have to grow up a bit and write about things that would really matter to the world. What I mean by that is I always post things about my life. Nothing educational really comes from that, so I'm going to try my best.

Thanks for reading!
